Missions
Our mission at The Ark is to share Jesus with people and this extends to people in distant countries as well as locally. We are an active mission church trying to make a difference in people?¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚Äö?묢s lives here in east Kent but also in many other countries such as France, Hungary and Latvia here in Europe and also in some measure in all the continents of the world.
As a national church we currently have five missionary couples stationed around the world who are responsible for our churches in a number of countries in Africa, Europe and South America. Here in Dover we support all of these generally and in particular are responsible for supporting our missionaries in Malawi.
We also send missionary teams from The Ark to many places each year on a rolling programme of visits. In the current year we have sent or will be sending teams to Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi and France and will also be visiting our missionaries in South Africa.
Our missionary work is primarily to share our faith but we are also mindful of the poorer conditions in some of the countries we visit.
