Thank you for your interest in Happy Feet Pre-School. Happy Feet is a friendly and well-resourced pre-school, with a brand new extension completed in April 2006.  

The pre-school has much to offer you and your child, including: well qualified and motivated staff; excellent car parking and drop-off facilities; separate nappy change room; flexible drop-off times; highly competitive rates, including no top-up fee charge; and service enhanced through the Tower Hamlets and Priory Children’s Centre, including additional fully qualified teacher.

Opening hours and fees
Mondays and Fridays:              8:45 - 12:00
Tuesdays – Thursdays:            8:45 -  3:30

Drop off times and collection times are flexible : 8:45-9:15 morning drop off, and 3:00-3:30 afternoon collection.

Morning session         [8:45-12:00]            £8
Lunch session            [12:00-1:00]            £2
Afternoon session      [1:00-3:30]              £6

If a child attends a whole day the afternoon fee is reduced to just £4, making the full day £14.


Happy Feet was delighted to host a visit from the former Secretary of State for Children, the Margaret Hodge MBE. MP., in October 2004.

We believe that children are just as important and valuable as adults. We respect the needs and rights of children, while maintaining firm and fair discipline. We believe in enjoying each child’s individuality, progressing their abilities, and fostering their care for others. Development is most rapid in the early years, and we wish to accelerate this learning. We believe that success and pleasure often go hand-in-hand. An atmosphere of enjoyment and a policy of partnership will be encouraged. We believe that every child should be able to say, “I am special”.


Happy Feet’s Vision Statement includes:

Every child receives a staff member as their key worker. The pre-school has a very well trained, approachable and dedicated staff team.

Happy Feet Toddler Group runs on term-time Fridays between 1:15 and 2:45. This group meets in the Auditorium hall with a wide variety of new toys available for children. The cost is £1 per family, and this includes refreshments.
